Overview: Basics on Navigating the SwiftComply Service Providers Tab including viewing and updating service provider information, searching and exporting service provider lists, as well as updating test kit information.

Navigating to the Service Providers Tab

  1. To see the service provider companies you test for, click on the Service Providers tab in the navigation menu on the left side of the screen.

**Note: If you only work with one testing company, you will only have one option in your list. If you work with more than one, you should see all companies you're associated with in the Service Provider tab.

*** Note: If you're self-contracted, your first and last name will be used as your Service Provider name.

Searching for a Service Provider

If you’re a tester for multiple testing companies, you may need to search for the service providers you’re working with.

  1. To search for a service provider, in the Service Providers tab, you can enter the name of the service provider you’re looking for in the search bar next to the magnifying glass.

  2. If you want to look up a service provider by other criteria (Contact, Phone, Email, etc), you can click the Down Arrow on the right side of the search bar, and enter in your information in the appropriate field. Click Save to complete your search.

Service Provider Table Settings

  1. You can customize the columns you want to see in the Service Providers table by clicking the Gear at the top right corner of the table. This will let you add and remove different data columns to create a layout that works best for you.

  2. When you open the gear menu, select or deselect each column title by clicking the check box to the left of the titles. Click Save to save your new table settings.

Exporting Service Provider List

  1. If you need to export a list of service providers, you can do so by clicking the Underlined Downward Arrow at the top right of the table. Clicking this will download a .csv file onto your computer that you can open with Excel or another spreadsheet program of your choosing, print, or edit as you wish.

**Please Note: The location this file shows up on your computer may vary based on your browser and computer settings.

Viewing Service Provider Details

  1. To view the details of a service provider, click the Service Provider’s Name in the table. This will bring up the service provider’s profile, click through the tabs to view Details, Test Kits, Users, and Contacts for each provider by selecting each corresponding tab in the profile.

Editing a Service Provider

  1. To edit the details of a service provider, click on the Service Provider you’d like to update.

  2. This will open the details window. From the details window, click the Green Pencil Icon in the upper right of the window.

  3. The detail fields will now be editable and will allow you to make your changes. Click Save once you’re done editing to keep the changes.

Viewing Service Providers Users

A Service Provider User in SwiftComply refers to any Tester that will be completing backflow tests for the city/org, and any admin that may be submitting tests on behalf of the tester (if allowed by your regulator and local ordinance).

Please Note: Each tester must have their own User Account with their own individual email address in order to submit tests through SwiftComply. Even if an admin will be submitting tests on their behalf.

  1. To view the users listed under a service provider, click the service provider to open up the details window and select the Users tab. This will show each user listed as well as their certification status and their contact information.

Need to add or update a Service Provider User? Reach out to your regulator directly and let them know you need add/update a Service Provider in their system.

Viewing Service Provider Contacts

Contacts can be used to add in contact information for the people in your organization that the city may need to reach out to that aren’t testers. This can include office staff, owner(s), etc.

  1. To view the contacts listed under a service provider, click the service provider to open up the details window and select the Contacts tab. This will show each contact’s type, name, email, and phone number.

Need to add or update a Service Provider Contact? Reach out to your regulator directly and let them know you need the record updated in their system.
