The list of Service Providers (ie: backflow testers) is found by navigating to the “Service Providers” Tab from the main page. The Table of Service Providers includes the Service Provider Name, Contact Name, Phone, Email, Address, City, and Website. Any of these categories can be sorted alphabetically/numerically by clicking on the column name.


If you would like to choose which sections to include within the table of Service Providers click the small gear symbol to the right of the search bar above the table. That will open a list of the categories and they can be selected or deselected based on what you would like to see on the table.

Any list of service providers that you have generated can be exported into a CSV file by selecting the small grey arrow icon to the far right of the search bar.

The search bar for Service Providers searches Name by default, however, you can refine your search by clicking the gray arrow in the search bar. This will open a series of searchable boxes. Multiple values can be searched for at the same time within these boxes.

Add a New Service Provider

To add a new Service Provider navigate to the “Service Provider” tab from the Dashboard. Click the green “Add Service Provider” button and a blank Service Provider form will pop up in a new window.



Fill out the required fields and select “Save” to add a new service provider.

Edit a Current Service Provider

To edit a current Service Provider navigate to the “Service Providers” tab from the Dashboard. Click on the Service Provider you wish to edit. The service provider details will appear in a pop-up window.



From the pop-up window with the provider details click the small green pencil icon to enable editing. Click “Save” when finished making edits.

Delete a Service Provider:

To delete a current Service Provider navigate to the “Service Providers” tab from the Dashboard. Click on the Service Provider you wish to delete. The service provider details will appear in a pop-up window.



From the pop-up window with the provider details click the small green pencil icon to enable editing. Scroll to the bottom of that page and click the red trash can icon to delete the provider.

The system will ask you to confirm.

View a Service Provider’s Users and User Details:

To view the users associated with a Service Provider first select the “Service Providers” tab from the Dashboard and select the Service Provider you want to view. That Service Provider’s details will appear in a pop-up window, select the “Users” tab from the new window to view the users associated with that service provider.

Click on a specific user to view that user's details, the details will appear in a new window.



Click on the “Certifications” tab to view that user’s certifications.

Approve/Deny Service provider users

When following the above steps to view the users associated with a service provider, city users have the option to Approve or Deny service provider users. Approving a service provider user determines if a service provider has submitted the correct details to allow them to add tests to SwiftComply Backflow.
