Topics
1. My Certifications
This tab allows you to manage your own certifications.
Add, edit, or delete your certifications
Any changes you make will be sent to all organizations you work with
All orgs currently allow tester-submitted updates
If you add a certification for an agency you already have in the system, you’ll see a warning that the new entry will overwrite the previous one
If you edit or delete a certification, you’ll be warned about which organizations will receive those changes
2. Organization Copies
This tab shows how your certifications match the requirements of each water authority you report to.
Dropdown menu to switch between organizations (if you work with more than one)
A clear box shows each required certification and your status against it
These certification copies may come from:
Your “My Certifications”
Or the organization itself
You cannot edit certifications on this tab (they are read-only)
Test Report Submission Rules
Certification expiration dates are fully enforced when submitting test reports.
What’s required to submit a test:
A non-expired certification
That meets the specific certification requirements of the water authority
Certification must be valid on the day the test was performed
(Not the day you’re entering the report)
What happens if your certification doesn’t meet the requirements?
You can save the test report
But you cannot submit it until you update your certification
A small number of testers may now be blocked from submitting tests if they had been submitting using expired certifications before
Water authority contacts were notified if this affected 15+ testers
Summary
These updates make it easier to understand:
Which certifications you have
Which certifications your organizations require
Whether you’re eligible to submit a specific test report
