Who this article is for: Org/City Users
Before you begin
You must be logged in as an Org/City User.
Navigate to Assemblies.
Click into the detail page of the Assembly you would like to replace with a new assembly (i.e. Click into the old assembly).
Find the ‘Replace’ Option
From the details tab, click the ‘Actions’ dropdown and select the ‘Replace’ option.
Locate the assembly that will replace the one you are in
Use the quick search dropdown or just scroll through the assemblies at the same location. Note: The assembly you are currently viewing and wanting to replace another will not be selectable and will have a ‘current assembly’ overlay when hovered over.
Select the assembly you want to replace the one you are working in.
Choose options for the replaced (old) Assembly
‘Keep <assembly serial number> at location will be selected by default. If you no longer want the replaced assembly visible at the location, uncheck the box. If you want to see the assembly that was replaced when you are in the location, keep the box checked.
‘Set <assembly serial number> as inactive’ will be unchecked by default. If you want to change the assembly that was replaced to inactive status, check the box.
Click Save and view the Replace Assembly confirmation modal and click Replace Assembly.
