Service Provider Email Notifications - Issue & Upcoming Fix

Overview: We've identified an issue affecting Service Providers users when a test report is returned to them.

What Happened

While reviewing submitted reports, if an organization uses the Send Back Report button, the system is supposed to send an automatic email to the user who submitted the report. These emails have not been sent since June 9, 2025.

What's Changing

A fix is scheduled for deployment the evening of Thursday, July 17. Once deployed, the emails will resume sending as expected for any reports sent back after that point.

Follow-up Actions

We’re currently working on a process to send the missed notifications for any reports that were sent back between June 9 and July 17. This catch-up email delivery is planned for Friday morning, July 18. Users may receive multiple emails simultaneously if multiple reports were sent to them during that period.

What's Next

After the fix is deployed and recovery emails are sent, we’ll investigate how the issue was introduced and take steps to prevent it from happening again.
