1. How Weather Data Is Collected

CloudCompli retrieves weather data from two main sources:

  • Aeris Weather

  • IBM Weather (formerly Wunderground)

Your site’s precipitation and weather event data are based on the selected weather station for that project.

2. Common Troubleshooting Steps

If your site is not showing accurate or current weather:

  • Confirm that a weather station is selected for the site

  • Try selecting a different station near your project location

  • Metar or Mesonet stations (under Aeris) tend to be more reliable than personal stations

3. Changing the Weather Station

You can update the weather station for your site in one of two ways:

  • Go to the site’s Edit or Details page and navigate to Page 2

  • Or navigate to: Settings > Manage Weather Station

If no stations are available nearby under one provider, try switching to the other (IBM or Aeris) to find the closest option.

4. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

Weather data comes from third-party sources and cannot be verified or adjusted by SwiftComply. We recommend periodically checking the station's latest observations to ensure it reflects current conditions.

5. When to Contact SwiftComply Support

If you've updated your station settings and weather is still not reporting as expected, reach out to SwiftComply Support for further guidance.
