How to Turn On Daily NOAA Forecast Emails

SwiftComply Stormwater lets you set up daily email reminders of upcoming weather conditions using your site’s zip code

Steps to Enable Daily Forecast Emails

  1. From the Dashboard, click Weather on the left-hand menu.

  2. On the Weather Summary page, your projects will be grouped by zip code. Click Edit Summary Preferences.

  3. Customize your forecast settings:

    • Frequency: How often emails should be sent (e.g., daily at 5:30 AM).

    • Thresholds: Set rainfall amounts or wind speed conditions that should trigger alerts.

    • Projects: Choose which projects should receive updates.

  4. Save your changes. Based on your preferences, you will begin receiving NOAA forecast summary emails.

    The daily forecast email includes:

    • Forecast date

    • Zip code

    • Precipitation and weather outlook for the next several days

    Notes

    • You can edit your preferences at any time under Weather > Edit Summary Preferences.

    • Forecasts are grouped by site zip code to ensure accuracy.

    • Use thresholds to limit alerts to only the most relevant conditions.
