To view the Assembly Details for an existing location select Locations from the Dashboard, and select the location you wish to view.

Once viewing the location details in the pop-up window select the Assemblies Tab to view that location’s list of assemblies. Click on the assembly you wish to see the details of and a new window will open with that assembly’s details.

To add an assembly to an existing location select Locations from the Dashboard, and select the location you wish to view. That location's details will appear in a pop-up window.

Once viewing the location details in the pop-up window select the Assemblies Tab to view that locations list of assemblies

Underneath the list of existing assemblies, there is a green Add Assembly button. Click the Add Assembly button and a blank assembly form will appear in a new pop-up window.

Fill out the required fields and select Save.

* It is recommended to check for duplicates to see if the assembly is already in the portal.

When adding an assembly to a location there is an option to Check Duplicates.

The system does auto-search for duplicate assemblies to avoid accidentally adding them. To manually check for duplicates select this option to compare the serial number of the assembly you are adding to the database of existing assemblies. This avoids creating duplicate assemblies within the database.

If the assembly you are adding to the location does already exist you will be given the option to use the existing assembly or continue with the one being created.

To edit an assembly from an existing location you must first remove it from its existing location. See Removing an Assembly at Location for detailed steps.

First, navigate to Locations from the Dashboard, and select your preferred location for the existing assembly. That location's details will appear in a pop-up window.

Next, locate the green add assembly button at the center bottom of the page.

A window will appear to input assembly details. You should ONLY input the assembly serial number and then press the check for duplicate function. This will locate the orphaned assembly that no longer has a location in your database.

Finally, select the assembly and press use selected to assign the assembly to the preferred location.

To view, a current location's assembly report history navigates to the Locations section from the Dashboard and select the location with the assembly’s report history you wish to view.

Select the Assemblies tab from the locations pop-up window and select the assembly whose report history you want to view.

Select the Report History tab to view that assembly’s report history. Click on any report to be taken to that assembly's test report details in a new tab. The report will open in a new window.

There are many ways to add a new test report. To get there from a location’s page, navigate to the Locations section from the Dashboard, and select the location you want to edit. The location details will pop-up in a new window.

Select the Assemblies to tab from the locations pop-up window and select the assembly that you wish to add a test report to. A pop-up window will appear with that assembly’s details. Underneath the assembly details is the Add Test Report button.

Select the Add Test Report button to add a new test report. You will be prompted to select a Service Provider, a Tester, and a Test kit before you are taken to the Test Report page.

Before selecting to Save or Save and Submit a test report, three is an option to include an attachment. To include an attachment click the small paperclip icon in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

Fill out the required Test Report fields and select either Save to come back later and edit, or Save and Submit. Saving the report allows you to come back later and make changes. Submit the report when it is final.

You can navigate back through the test report that is being created by clicking on the tabs located at the bottom of the report. Once each section has been completed it is able to be selected from the bar at the bottom of the screen for review.

When finished and completed with the test report you will be asked to confirm that the information provided is correct.

After you have confirmed the information it will take you to the Test Report section of SwiftComply and you will have the option to Accept or Reject the report, View the report, or download a PDF of the report.

*Note: Removing an assembly from a location is different from deleting an assembly from a location. Removing an assembly from a location still keeps a record of the assembly within your database, it is just no longer attached to that location. Deleting an assembly permanently deletes that assembly and it no longer exists within your database.

To replace, remove, set as inactive, or delete an assembly from an existing location, first navigate to the location you want to edit and view that location's details. Once viewing the location details navigate to the Assemblies tab. Select the assembly you want to remove and that assembly’s details will appear in a new window.

From the Assemblies, Detail page click the small green pencil icon to enable editing.

Once editing is enabled scroll to the bottom of the page and select from Replace Assembly, Remove Assembly, Set as Inactive, or Delete Assembly.

Hot Tip: If you're moving an assembly to another location, make a note of the serial number removing. You'll need this when syncing the assembly to the new location.

To remove an assembly from a location select Remove Assembly from the assembly details page once editing is enabled (detailed instructions listed above). The system will ask you to confirm your decision by clicking OK or Cancel. This feature is best used to remove a faulty assembly from a location.

To replace an assembly select Replace Assembly from the assembly details page once editing is enabled (instructions listed above). A table of available assemblies to replace the existing assembly will appear in a pop-up window. Select the assembly to replace the existing assembly, the system will ask you to confirm.

Only assemblies that are associated with the location can be selected as a replacement assembly.

To set an assembly as inactive select Set as Inactive from the assembly details page once editing is enabled (detailed instructions listed above). The system will ask you to confirm this decision by clicking OK or Cancel. Once inactive the assembly will not appear in any searches among assemblies or show up on the assembly detail page. This feature is best used to keep a device at its current location as an inactive device.

To delete an assembly from the system entirely, select the small red trash can symbol from the assembly details page once editing is enabled (full instructions above). The system will ask you to confirm with a warning by either selecting Delete Assembly or Delete Assembly from Location. Selecting Delete Assembly will delete the assembly permanently, and Delete Assembly from Location will remove the assembly from that location but the assembly will remain in your SwiftComply database.
