Description: How to find, view, download, and manage previously submitted test reports in SwiftComply.
Who this article is for: Service Providers
Overview
The Test Reports tab is your record of every test that's been submitted. From here you can search for a specific report, review its details and compliance, download a PDF copy, and customize how the table looks. This article walks through each of those tasks.
π The Test Reports tab shows reports submitted by any tester at the companies you work with β not just your own β so searching and filtering are the fastest way to find what you need.
Navigating to the Test Reports Tab
Click Test Reports in the left navigation panel to open the table of submitted reports.
Searching for a Test Report
Quick search: Type the assembly's serial number into the search bar next to the magnifying glass.
Advanced search: Click the arrow on the right side of the search bar to search by other criteria β such as Account Number or Address β then click Save to run the search.
Viewing a Test Report
Click any report in the table to open a detail panel on the right side of the page. The panel has three tabs.
Details Tab
Shows the report's key information, including:
Status β one of:
Submitted β sent successfully and awaiting your water organization's decision.
Accepted β approved by your water organization.
Rejected β not accepted.
In-Progress β not yet submitted or incomplete.
Pending Payment β awaiting payment before submission (only for organizations that require payment).
Compliant β whether the assembly meets the water organization's parameters.
Assembly Type (RP, DC, etc.), Make, and Model.
Notes β anything entered at the time of submission.
The Details tab also has two buttons: View Report (opens the full report β location and assembly info, test data, summary, and tester info, with Next/Back to move between screens) and Download Report (see Downloading a Test Report below).
Compliance Issues Tab
Lists the specific data field(s) that caused a test to fail β for example, Check Valve 1 or Check Valve 2 values that fell outside your water organization's accepted parameters.
Files Tab
Shows all attachments uploaded with the test report.
The Discrepancy Table
A discrepancy table appears when you change assembly or location information on the first page of a test report. It shows what you changed compared to the expected value in your water organization's database.
π No action is required on your part β your water organization will reach out if a change needs to be made.
Downloading a Test Report
You can download any report as a PDF to save, print, or send:
Open the report and go to the Details tab.
Click Download Report. The PDF opens in a new tab.
From that new tab, use the download or print icons in the upper-right corner to save or print the report.
Deleting a Test Report
π‘ Submitted reports cannot be deleted. Once a report is submitted and finalized it stays on record β you can only delete reports still marked In-Progress.
Open the in-progress report from the Test Reports tab.
Click the red trash can icon in the bottom-right corner.
Click Delete in the confirmation message to finish.
Filtering and Customizing the Table
Filters
Click the three horizontal lines at the right of the search bar to open filters. From here you can:
Deselect Active and click Save to include inactive assemblies in your results.
Enter a date range to narrow results to a specific time period.
Column Settings
Click the gear icon at the top-right of the table to choose which columns appear.
Check or uncheck each column title, then click Save to apply your layout.
FAQ
Q: Why do I see test reports I didn't submit?
A: The Test Reports tab shows every report submitted by any tester at the companies you work with, so you'll often see colleagues' reports too. Use the search bar or filters to narrow the list to the reports you're looking for.
Q: Can I delete a report I already submitted?
A: No. Once a report is submitted and finalized it can't be deleted β only reports still marked In-Progress can be removed. If a submitted report has a problem, reach out to your water organization or SwiftComply support.
Q: A discrepancy table appeared on my report β do I need to do anything?
A: No. It simply flags where the information you entered differs from your water organization's expected values. They'll contact you if a change is needed.
Q: How do I get a printable copy of a report?
A: Open the report's Details tab and click Download Report. The PDF opens in a new tab, where you can download or print it.
