From an existing Communication template, you can select the 'CLONE' option.

Cloning creates the exact copy of your communication template, including the settings, targets, and communication text. This is a great way to quickly create a similar communication while having the ability to make small changes.

If you clone an existing, published communication template, it will bring in your original communication settings and any text or email. These settings include the original communication targeting, communication type, and text; these settings are available for editing.

However, if you keep the SAME communication TYPE and TARGETING settings, a cloned communication template will unpublish the original communication once the cloned copy is published.

Editing the communication TYPE ( Ex. Second Notice) or changing any of the TARGETING values will create a new communication template.

NOTE: To edit the communication text of a published communication you will need to unpublish the communication prior to cloning.
