Overview
Every backflow tester needs their own SwiftComply user account, registered separately for each city or utility they test in. Each city has its own unique registration form. This article walks you through how to get the right link and submit your details.
Step 1: Get your city's registration link
Start a chat with our support team using the chat bubble in the bottom-right corner of the Help Center, or email us at help@swiftcomply.com. Let us know which city or utility you're registering for and we'll send the correct registration link directly to you.
Step 2: Submit your details
Open the link and complete the registration form. You'll need to provide:
Your personal and company details β name, email, phone number, company name, and mailing address.
Your tester certification details (certification number, certifying agency, expiration date) and a digital copy of the certificate (.jpg, .jpeg, .png, or .pdf).
Your test kit details (make, model, serial number, latest calibration date) and a digital copy of the calibration certificate.
Click Submit when finished.
What happens next
Once your account is created, you'll receive a Welcome email with a link to your city's SwiftComply portal.
The city or utility reviews your registration. Approval typically takes up to 48 hours.
Use the Forgot your Password? link on the login screen to set your password.
FAQ
Q: Do I need to register separately for each city I test in?
A: Yes. Each city or utility has its own registration form, and you must register with each jurisdiction you plan to submit reports for. Use the same email address each time so your records stay linked.
Q: Can my admin register me instead of me filling out the form myself?
A: An admin can submit the registration form on your behalf. However, each user will need to log into their own account to update any certification details in the future β admin users do not currently have access to upload certifications for testers or other users.
