Paying for Completed Test Reports

Learn when and how to pay for completed test reports as a service provider in SwiftComply.

Who this article is for: Service Providers

Overview

When you submit a test report in SwiftComply, the organization you are submitting to may require a payment fee. Payment is only required for reports that pass the compliance check. This article explains when payment is triggered, the test report status flow, and what to expect during the payment process.

When Is Payment Required?

You will know that you need to pay for a test report when it’s status changes to Pending Payment after you submit your passing test report.

📝 If you submit a failing test report, payment is never required. Failing reports skip the payment step and go directly to Submitted status.

Completing Payment

After you submit a test report that requires payment:

  1. Click the Make a Payment button at the top of your screen within SwiftComply.

  2. Select the Service Provider Company from the dropdown.

  3. Click the check box to select which test reports you’d like to pay for. You can click the box at the top of the table to select all.

  4. Review the total and select Pay Now. This will open another page for our third party payment processor, Stripe.

  5. Complete the payment through the Stripe checkout interface.

  6. After successful payment, the report status changes to Submitted.

💡 Keep your payment method up to date in Stripe to avoid delays when submitting reports.

Adding a Balance

A service provider account balance is shared across all users within the company, making it easy for any team member to submit reports.

To add money to your balance:

  1. Within the Make A Payment page, click the plus sign to the right of the balance total. A small pop-up will appear.

  2. In the pop-up window, type the amount of money you’d like to add to your account. Note that there’s a minimum of $5.

  3. Click Add.

  4. Complete the payment through the Stripe checkout interface.

💡 When your account has a balance, the checkout process remains the same. Once you select the reports you'd like to pay for, and click Pay, your balance will be applied automatically. If the total exceeds your available balance, you will be directed to the Stripe payment screen to cover the remaining amount.

What Happens if I Do Not Pay?

If you do not complete payment, the report remains in Pending Payment status. It will not be sent to the organization for review until payment is completed. You can return to the report at any time to complete the payment.
