Who this article is for: Authority users who want to understand what the platform offers and how it is organized.
Overview
Industrial pretreatment programs generate a lot of moving parts β industrial user records, discharge permits, sampling schedules, inspection results, violations, and enforcement actions. At the same time, industrial users need a straightforward way to submit sample reports and stay on top of their obligations.
SwiftComply Pretreatment brings both sides together. Authority users manage the full lifecycle of pretreatment oversight, from onboarding a new industrial user to tracking violations and generating compliance reports. Industrial users log in to a dedicated portal to view their facility profile and submit reports.
Key Features
The platform is organized around a left sidebar navigation for authority users. Each section maps to a core function of the pretreatment program.

FAQ
Q: What is an industrial user?
A: An industrial user (IU) is a commercial or industrial facility that discharges wastewater into a publicly owned treatment works (POTW). In SwiftComply, each IU has a dedicated record that stores profile information, contacts, outfalls, permits, and sample report history.
Q: What is the difference between the authority view and the industrial user view?
A: Authority users have full access to manage the pretreatment program β they can view and edit all industrial user records, create permits, configure sampling requirements, conduct inspections, issue violations, run reports, and manage system configuration.
