Sample Reports in SCPT

View and complete Pretreatment sample reports based on defined schedules and sampling requirements.

Updated this week

Sample reports are created when a sample report configuration is completed.

These reports are generated according to the configured report schedule and are based on the sampling configurations defined in the report setup.

Sample reports may be created directly from the IU outfall page (ASRCs or SMRCs with general controls) or during the permit creation process (SMRCs with permits). Once generated, reports are accessible via the IU Overview Page.

Accessing Sample Reports

Sample reports can be accessed from the Sample Reports tab on the IU Overview Page.

Reports appear in a searchable table and are listed as individual entries based on the report schedule (e.g., a monthly schedule over 12 months creates 12 rows).

Clicking a report row opens the Sample Report Overview Page, which contains:

  • Sample Report Summary – report metadata and status.

  • Sampling Events – generated based on the sampling configuration.

  • File Attachments – required or optional depending on the report setup.

Sample Report Data Entry

Each sampling event includes expected results. Clicking the icon at the end of the row opens the data entry page.

  • Required fields are marked with *

  • Values can be drag-copied

  • Additional results can be added using “+ Add New Analyte”

Once saved, the sampling event status updates (No Data, Partial, or Completed). A pencil icon will also appear on the report row to indicate progress.

Sample Report Attachments

Attachments are managed in the File Attachments section. Required files (e.g., lab reports) are marked with an asterisk. Multiple files can be added or replaced up until the report is submitted.

Sample Report Submission

When the report is complete, click Sign and Submit. If required files or data are missing, a warning appears.

Signing the Sample Reports:

  • Authority Sample Reports have one signature field, and the date/time auto-set.

  • Industry Sample Reports (SMRs) have two signature fields (one for the authority user and one for the IU representative). IU submission date/time must also be entered.

Once submitted, the report becomes read-only.

Sample Report Status

  • Scheduled – Report is created and not yet due or submitted.

  • Past Due – Report is past its due date and has not been submitted.

  • Submitted – Report has been signed and submitted.

  • Deleted – Report was removed due to the termination of the sample report configuration. Deleted reports cannot be restored.
