May 2025 - FOG Product Update: Pumpout Reports Can Now Be Printed and Emailed to FSEs

New SwiftComply FOG update: Print & email pumpout reports to FSEs + customize headers/footers in the new "Pumpouts" tab under Settings.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

We’re excited to announce a new feature that enhances how pumpout data is shared with Food Service Establishments (FSEs). SwiftComply FOG users can now print and email pumpouts directly to FSEs—making communication faster and more streamlined.

What’s New?

Print & Email Pumpouts

You now have the ability to print and email pumpout reports with just a few clicks. This makes it easier to provide FSEs with real-time service documentation, improving transparency and compliance.

Where to find it:
When viewing an individual pumpout entry, you’ll now see options to print or email the report at the top of the page. If you choose to email the pumpout, the recipiant must be listed as a contact at the establishment.

You'll notice that this update also changes the pumpout interface.

Previously, opening a pumpout allowed you to edit it immediately. Now, you’ll enter a read-only view first.

To edit or delete a pumpout, simply click the Edit button in the bottom-right corner of the record. From there you can update the record and click Save at the bottom of the manifest, or you can click the red Delete button to remove the pumpout all together.

FSEs Can Access Pumpout PDFs

FSEs now have direct access to PDF copies of pumpout reports from within their business profile. This makes it easier for establishments to reference service records and stay compliant.

Adding a Header & Footer: New “Pumpouts” Tab in Settings

A new "Pumpouts" tab has been added under your Settings menu. This section allows you to customize the appearance of your pumpout reports.

What you can do:

  • Add a custom header (e.g. city logo, contact info, or local regulatory details)

  • Add a custom footer (e.g. disclaimers, follow-up instructions, or branding)

This ensures every pumpout report sent to an FSE reflects your organization’s standards and messaging.

Why It Matters

This update is designed to:

  • Simplify compliance communication with FSEs

  • Provide clear documentation of service

  • Allow teams to personalize and professionalize their reporting
