Overview
The Municipal Field Activities program tracks field maintenance activities, street sweeping, catch basin cleaning, inlet maintenance, and other field operations. Activities are logged against sites and tracked over time for regulatory reporting.
Logging a field activity
In the left sidebar, open Municipal Field Activities. If your organization has more than two Control Measures programs, it's inside the Control Measures menu. Your organization may use a different name for this program.
Select the site.
Click the create button for the kind of activity you're logging, such as Create Inspection, Create Sampling Report, Create Training Report, or Create Report. The buttons you see depend on the report types your administrator has turned on for the site's profile.
Fill in the form. Its fields come from the report template your administrator set up, so it may ask for details such as the activity type, date, and measurements.
Upload supporting documentation (photos, logs) if needed.
Click Publish to finish the report, or Save Draft to come back to it later. If your organization has turned off drafts, click Save and Complete instead.
Viewing activity history
Open a site in the Municipal Field Activities program.
In the Recent Activity panel, open the All Activity tab, then click View All Activity to see the full list.
View all logged activities with dates, types, and details.
To share the list, click Print. To download the reports and files themselves, select them and click Bulk Download.
Program features
Depending on your organization's setup and how each site profile is configured, Municipal Field Activities can include:
Inspections: Conduct field inspections using configurable templates.
Deficiencies: Track maintenance issues and compliance gaps.
BMPs: Document BMP implementations at field sites.
Training Log: Record field crew training activities.
Files: Upload maintenance records and documentation.
Precipitation Events: Record precipitation events at the site, with start and end times and total precipitation.
Sampling: Log water quality sampling during field activities.
Risk Assessment: Assess risk levels at maintenance sites.

Q: Can I log multiple activities on the same site in one day?
A: Yes. Each activity is a separate record, so you can log as many as needed per site per day.
Q: How does this differ from the Street Sweeping (Summary) program?
A: Municipal Field Activities tracks individual field maintenance events at specific sites. Street Sweeping (Summary) records sweeping totals by management area for each reporting year (distance and percent swept, sweeping frequency, and debris collected for residential, industrial, and commercial areas) for annual regulatory reporting. Your organization may use a different name for either program.
Q: Can field activities include catch basin cleaning data?
A: Yes. Field activities support configurable report templates, so your administrator can create templates with fields specific to catch basin cleaning (condition, debris removed, etc.).
