Overview
The interactive map (Sites view) displays all your sites as pins on a map. It provides a geographic overview of your service area and lets you quickly find and navigate to specific sites.
Accessing the interactive map
Click Sites in the left sidebar.
The map loads with pins for all active sites.
If many sites are close together, they may appear as a cluster with a number. Click the cluster or zoom in to see individual pins.
Map features
Site pins
Each site appears as a pin on the map. Pins can be color-coded based on site status or compliance status.
For example, green pins typically represent Active/Compliant sites, while red pins may indicate sites with "Open Deficiencies." The exact color scheme depends on your account configuration.
Click any pin to see:
Site name
Address
Current status
A link to navigate to the site's detail page
Filtering
Use the sidebar filters to narrow the map view by program type, status, or custom site tags (for example, "Watershed A" or "High Priority").
ArcGIS layers
If ESRI integration is configured, additional GIS layers appear on the map. These can include parcel data, drainage boundaries, watershed outlines, or any other feature service your organization publishes.
Navigating from the map
Click a site pin on the map.
In the popup that appears, click the site name link.
You'll be taken to the site's detail page where you can access reports, deficiencies, BMPs, and all other features.
FAQ
Q: Why are some sites not showing on the map?
A: Sites need valid latitude/longitude coordinates to appear on the map. If a site was created without coordinates, it won't have a pin. Edit the site to add coordinates.
Q: Can I draw boundaries on this map?
A: The Sites map is for viewing all sites. To draw boundaries (perimeters), open a specific site's detail page and use the map view there.
Q: Is there a way to search for a site on the map?
A: Use the Jump to... search in the dashboard header, or use the tag filters on the map to narrow down displayed sites.
