Navigating the Dashboard

A tour of the SwiftComply Stormwater Dashboard — counters, recently inspected sites, weather, map, and Jump to.

Overview

The Dashboard is your landing page when you log in to SwiftComply Stormwater. It gives you a quick snapshot of your compliance program, how many active sites you have, how many deficiencies are open, which reports are missing or due, and which sites have rain forecasted today.

Dashboard counters

At the top of the dashboard, four counter cards summarize your program status:

  1. Total Active Sites: the number of active sites in your system. Click the counter to go to the full sites list.

  2. Open Deficiencies: the count of unresolved deficiencies across all programs. Click to go to the deficiencies list.

  3. Missing Reports: reports that were required but never submitted. Click to view the missed requirements report. This counter only shows data if Time-Based Reporting Requirements are configured on your account; Time-Based Requirements are set up by the SwiftComply team.

  4. Reports Due This Month: reports that are due within the current calendar month. Click to view upcoming requirements. Like Missing Reports, this counter only shows data if Time-Based Reporting Requirements are configured on your account by the SwiftComply team.

If you have default tags set on your user profile, the dashboard counters will filter to only show data for sites matching those tags. A panel below the counters shows which tags are active.

Recently inspected sites

This card shows the 5 most recently inspected sites with the date of each inspection. Click any site name to go directly to that site's detail page. Click the "View all" button to see the full list.

Active sites with rain forecasted today

This card lists active sites where NOAA forecasts predict rain today. It shows the site name and estimated rainfall amount in inches. This helps you prioritize inspections, especially for construction sites where qualifying precipitation events may trigger inspection requirements.

Weather data comes from NOAA and is automatically pulled based on each site's coordinates. Your administrator must configure weather integration for this to work.

Interactive map

Below the cards, an interactive map displays all your sites as pins. You can:

  • Zoom and pan to find specific areas.

  • Click a pin to see the site name and navigate to its detail page.

  • Filter pins by site tags using the filter controls.

  • View color-coded pins based on site status.

Jump to site

In the top-right corner, there's a Jump to... search box. Type any site name to quickly navigate to that site's detail page without scrolling through lists.

FAQ

Q: Why are my dashboard numbers different from my coworker's?

A: If you have default tags set in your user profile, the dashboard filters data to only show sites matching those tags. Check your profile settings to see your tag configuration.

Q: Why don't I see the 'Active sites with rain forecasted' card?

A: Weather integration must be configured by your administrator. If your instance doesn't have NOAA weather enabled, this card won't appear.

Q: Can I customize what appears on the dashboard?

A: The dashboard layout is fixed, but you can control which sites appear by setting your default visible tags in your user profile.

Q: What does 'Missing Reports' mean exactly?

A: Missing reports are reporting requirements that passed their due date without a report being submitted. These are different from 'Reports Due' which are upcoming requirements.
