Overview
The Analytics Dashboard provides charts, tables, and reports that summarize your stormwater compliance program's performance. You can track deficiency trends, BMP effectiveness, enforcement activity, weather patterns, and reporting compliance.
Accessing analytics
Click Analytics in the left sidebar.
You'll see a menu of available analytics modules.

Deficiency analytics
Outstanding Deficiencies: A list of all currently open deficiencies across your program.
Deficiency Aging: How long deficiencies have been open, grouped by age range.
Open by Period: Deficiencies opened within a selected date range.
MTR by Period: Mean Time to Resolution tracking over time.
Site analytics
Site Overview: Summary of all sites with status breakdowns.
Site Assessment: Compliance assessment scores across sites.
Types Overview: Breakdown of sites by type within each program.
Next Inspection Date: Upcoming inspection schedules.
BMP analytics
Site Effectiveness: BMP effectiveness ratings aggregated by site.
Tag Effectiveness: BMP effectiveness grouped by site tags.
Report analytics
Created by Period: Reports created within a selected date range.
Site Scores: Inspection scores by site (for scored report templates).
Billing by Period: Billing-related reporting data.
Missed Requirements: Identifies gaps in your inspection history. This is a critical report to review before annual regulatory audits to ensure all permit-mandated inspections were completed.

Enforcement analytics
Outstanding Action Requirements: Open enforcement cases requiring action.
Created by Period: Enforcement cases opened within a date range.
IDDE analytics
Complaints: IDDE complaint trends and status.
Investigations: IDDE investigation status and outcomes.
Weather analytics
Precipitation Events: Historical precipitation data filterable by program, site status, Site Profile, and date range. Exportable to CSV.
Filtering and exporting
Most analytics views support:
Date range filters: Select a start and end date to scope the data.
Program filters: Filter to a specific program.
Status filters: Filter by site or deficiency status.
CSV export: Click the export icon to download the current view as a CSV file.

Q: Can I schedule analytics reports to be emailed?
A: Analytics are viewed on-demand in the platform. Export to CSV and share the file for offline distribution.
Q: Why don't I see all analytics modules?
A: Some modules only appear when the related program is enabled. For example, IDDE analytics require the IDDE program to be active.
Q: Do analytics reflect real-time data?
A: Most analytics reflect SwiftComply data in real time as you load the page. External data like precipitation from weather stations typically syncs between 15 and 60 minutes behind real time.
