Overview
The Analytics Dashboard provides charts, tables, and reports that summarize your stormwater compliance program's performance. You can track deficiency trends, BMP effectiveness, enforcement activity, weather patterns, and reporting compliance.
Accessing analytics
Click Analytics in the left sidebar.
You'll see a menu of available analytics modules.
Available analytics modules
Deficiency analytics
Deficiencies Outstanding: A pie chart of open and overdue deficiencies compared with deficiencies resolved in the selected period, with a table of those deficiencies.
Deficiencies Aging: How long deficiencies took to resolve, grouped by age range, alongside the number still unresolved.
Deficiencies by Period: Deficiencies opened within a selected date range.
Deficiencies Mean Time to Resolution: Mean Time to Resolution tracking over time.
Site analytics
Sites Overview: A table of sites with their site status, compliance status, program, Site Profile, and counts of reports and deficiencies in the selected period.
Assessment by Sites: Compliance assessment scores across sites.
Site Profiles Overview: Breakdown of sites by type within each program.
Next Inspection Date: Upcoming inspection schedules.
BMP analytics
Management Practice Effectiveness by Site (Current): BMP effectiveness ratings aggregated by site.
Management Practice Effectiveness by Tag (Current): BMP effectiveness grouped by site tags.
Report analytics
Reports by Period: Reports created within a selected date range.
Site Report Scores (Historical): Inspection scores by site (for scored report templates).
Billing by Period: Billing-related reporting data.
Reports Missing by Period: Identifies gaps in your inspection history.
Upcoming Reporting Requirements: Reports coming due in the near future.
Enforcement analytics
These titles start with your Enforcement program's name (for example, Enforcement Action Requirements Outstanding).
Action Requirements Outstanding: Outstanding and overdue enforcement action requirements compared with those resolved in the selected period.
Cases Started by Period: Enforcement cases opened within a date range.
IDDE analytics
IDDE Complaints by Period: A table of IDDE complaints created within a selected date range.
IDDE Investigations by Period: IDDE investigation status and outcomes.
Weather analytics
Precipitation Events: Historical precipitation data filterable by program, site status, tags, and date range. Exportable to CSV.
Filtering and exporting
Most analytics views support:
Date range filters: Select a start and end date to scope the data.
Program filters: Filter to a specific program.
Status filters: Filter by site status.
CSV export: Click Download CSV to download the table, with your current filters applied, as a CSV file.
FAQ
Q: Can I schedule analytics reports to be emailed?
A: Analytics are viewed on demand in the platform. Tables can be downloaded with Download CSV.
Q: Why don't I see all analytics modules?
A: Some modules only appear when the related program is enabled. For example, IDDE analytics require the IDDE program to be active. Others appear only when the SwiftComply team turns them on for your account (these are listed under My Custom Analytics, for example Next Inspection Date, Billing by Period, and Site Profiles Overview), BMP analytics can be turned off for an account, and score-based modules such as Site Report Scores (Historical) appear only once reports with scores exist.
Q: Do analytics reflect real-time data?
A: Most analytics reflect SwiftComply data in real time as you load the page. External data like precipitation from weather stations typically syncs between 15 and 60 minutes behind real time.
