Why Permissions Matter
With recent Android updates, tablets have introduced stronger security settings. This means you may need to manually enable permissions for apps to access features such as photos, videos, or location services.
Granting App Permissions (Samsung Device Example)
Follow these steps to grant permissions:
Open the Settings menu on your tablet.
Scroll down and tap on Apps.
Locate and select the app you want to adjust (e.g., Chrome or SwiftComply Stormwater).
Tap Permissions.
Under Photos and Videos, tap to adjust access and select Always Allow.

Troubleshooting Tips
If an app cannot access images or videos, check its permissions first.
Ensure Storage/Media access is enabled if you need to upload photos from inspections.
For location-based features, confirm that Location permissions are also set to “Allow.”
Notes
The exact steps may vary slightly depending on your tablet model and Android version.
Permissions can be changed at any time in the Settings > Apps > [App Name] > Permissions menu.
✅ By properly adjusting app permissions, you’ll ensure the SwiftComply Stormwater app can fully operate and support your compliance activities.
