Backflow - What's New: Compliance Records, Clearer Labels & Reporting - June 2025

June 2025-Compliance records reflect the latest accepted report. Labels, headers, and filters updated for clarity and consistent reporting.

Release date: June 2025 | Product area: Compliance, Reporting & Tables

This update improves how compliance records update when reports are accepted, and makes labels, filters, and reporting clearer and more consistent.

What's new

Compliance updates

When a test report is accepted with a newer test date than what's on file, the compliance record's Last Tested On and Last Test Result now update automatically to match. (The Next Test Due logic is unchanged, and older reports won't overwrite newer data.) Full details are in the guide below.

Resetting accepted reports

If you reset the latest accepted report, the compliance record now rolls back to the next most recent accepted report. Note that manual edits made directly to the compliance record aren't retained on reset.

Clearer labels, headers, and filters

We renamed field labels, column headers, and filters for clarity, and added new table fields (like Possible Next Test/Survey Due and Next Test/Survey Due At Acceptance) that show how an accepted report affects scheduling.

Good to know

⚠️ Action may be required. Because some field and column names changed, previously saved table views and dashboard widgets may be missing columns and will need to be reconfigured, and a few familiar fields now appear under new names. We recommend reviewing your saved views.
