Unpublishing/ Deleting a Communication:

Published communication templates cannot be deleted. To delete a communication template you must first UNPUBLISH it. This will stop the specified communication from being generated.

Next, use the pencil icon to edit your communication .  A red trash can icon will appear below to delete your unwanted communication .
