Bulk Editing Sites: Tags, Compliance Status, and Export

Use the bulk tag editor, bulk compliance status editor, and CSV export to manage many sites at once.

Overview

SwiftComply Stormwater gives Authority Users three bulk operations to work efficiently across many sites at once: the Bulk Tag Editor, the Bulk Compliance Status Editor, and CSV export from any site list.

Bulk Tag Editor

The Bulk Tag Editor adds or removes tags across many sites in a single action.

How to use it

  1. Click the Settings (gear icon) in the upper right corner, then select Bulk Tag Editor.

  2. Filter the site list to find the sites you want to update (by program, status, existing tags, or Site Profile).

  3. Select the sites by checking the box next to each site name.

  4. Choose the operation:

    • Add Tags: apply the selected tags to all chosen sites.

    • Remove Tags: remove the selected tags from all chosen sites.

  5. Click Apply.

A confirmation message appears when the change is complete.

There is no automatic undo for bulk tag changes. To reverse, run the editor again with the opposite operation (Remove instead of Add, or vice versa).

Bulk Compliance Status Editor

The Bulk Compliance Status Editor updates compliance statuses across multiple sites in a single action.

How to use it

  1. Click the Settings (gear icon) in the upper right corner, scroll down, and select Bulk Compliance Status Editor.

  2. Choose the status you'd like to set from the dropdown menu.

  3. Apply filters to find the sites you want to update (by program, status, tags, or Site Profile).

  4. Select the sites from the filtered list by clicking the checkbox to the left of each site name.

  5. Click Set Selected Compliance Status.

A confirmation message appears when the update is complete.

There is no automatic undo for bulk compliance status changes. Review your filters and selection carefully before applying.

Exporting site data to CSV

Site data can be exported from any site list view for reporting, audits, or offline review.

How to export

  1. Navigate to any site list (from a program in the left sidebar).

  2. Apply any filters you want (status, compliance status, tags, search).

  3. Click the Download CSV button.

  4. A CSV file downloads containing the currently visible (filtered) sites.

Exportable columns include site name, programs, status, compliance status, address, tags, latitude, longitude, and latest report date.

The export reflects your current filters and visible columns. Adjust filters and column visibility before exporting to get exactly the data you need.

FAQ

Q: Can I undo a bulk tag or compliance status change?

A: No, neither bulk operation has an automatic undo. To reverse a tag change, run the editor with the opposite operation. To reverse a compliance status change, run the editor again with the original status, or correct individual sites manually.

Q: Why don't all my columns appear in the CSV export?

A: The export includes the columns currently visible in your table view. Adjust your column visibility before exporting to include additional fields.

Q: Can I export data for a specific program only?

A: Yes. Navigate to that program's site list first, then apply the export. The CSV will only contain sites in that program.

Q: How many sites can I update at once?

A: The bulk editors work on whatever you select from the filtered list. For very large updates, filter tightly and double-check your selection before applying.
